National Youth MMA Championship Punjab Trials Held Under AMMA Rules at SA Gardens

Lahore, July 13, 2025 – The Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation (PMMAF) successfully conducted the Punjab Trials for the National Youth MMA Championship under the Asian Mixed Martial Arts (AMMA) rules on July 13, 2025, at the SA Gardens Marquee, Lahore.

This high-energy event drew young, passionate fighters from across Punjab, all vying for a chance to represent their region at the upcoming national championship. The trials were held with the aim of identifying and grooming fresh talent, and promoting discipline, sportsmanship, and skill development among the youth of Pakistan.

Under strict AMMA regulations, the bouts were supervised by certified referees and judges, many of whom had completed the PMMAF’s Referee and Judges Course held earlier the same day. The standard of competition was fierce, with athletes showcasing exceptional dedication, technique, and heart.

PMMAF President Babar Raja stated, “The youth are the future of MMA in Pakistan. Through these trials, we are not just selecting fighters—we are building the next generation of champions.”

The event marks a significant step toward expanding the grassroots development of MMA in Pakistan, ensuring that the sport continues to grow in a structured and professional environment.
