MMA National Championship at SA Gardens
SA Group organized Mixed Martial Arts competitions in SA Gardens, Kala Shah Kaku
SA Group and Pakistan MMA Federation organized MMA quarter finals competitions at SA Gardens, Kala Shah Kaku.
More than 62 fighters competed in 8 weight categories from across the country in the quarter finals.
Chairman SA Group Sohail Afzal Malik, CEO Shoaib Afzal Malik, MD Ghulam Murtaza Rabbani, Director Salman Zia, President MMA Federation Babar Raja, Director Operations Ammad Bin Shabbir, Director Editorial Board Tahreer e Pakistan Nauman Bajwa, Director Sales Ahmad Raza, Vice President MMA Federation Sher Ali Malik, Director Nadeem Akhtar, MMA officials Gohar Gul, Owais Shah, Faizan Zain, Nadeem Akhtar, Shafique-ur-Rehman Khatana, Shafique Awan and a large number of spectators attended the event.
In the first competition, Muhammad Fazal from Sindh defeated Shahab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in an enthusiastic fight in minus 52 category.
In the minus 56 category, Jibran knocked out his opponent and won the admiration of the fans.
In minus 61 category, Muhammad Khan from Islamabad defeated Saleem Ahmed who is from Gilgit-Baltistan.
Chairman SA Group Sohail Afzal Malik shared his views by saying that the purpose of sports is to provide training to the youth and to keep them away from bad actions and habits through such healthy activities.
President MMA Federation Babar Qayyum Raja said SA Group has set up SAG-Academy for the promotion of MMA. We are providing a platform to the youth of Pakistan where they can showcase their talents to the fullest. No other organization in Pakistan had hosted such a large scale tournament before.
Imran Khan from SA Premium Homes said that SA Gardens is promoting those sports in Pakistan which could not be taken care of by the government or other private institutions.
Vice President MMA Federation Sher Ali Malik said that we are hopeful that the youth of Pakistan will get a positive thinking through such activities. SA Group is promoting the talent of the youth. Motor racing track has also been made here for those who are interested in motor sports.
