World champion American boxer Gervonta Davis has embraced Islam after taking his shahadah (testimony of faith) in a mosque. He announced his conversion on his social media accounts. where he received many congratulatory messages from his fans and fellow Muslim athletes.
Davis is the latest in a long line of American boxers who have converted to Islam, following the footsteps of legends like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
